GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
Meeting Schedule: 2nd
Tuesday of the month at 8:30 AM at the Finger Lakes Health System
Agency, 1150 University Avenue (back of building near railroad
tracks.)
CARE COORDINATION COMMITTEE (formerly Services)
The role of the Care Coordination Committee is to
identify problems and service gaps in the services delivery system; to
recommend needed changes; to provide a forum for interagency case conferencing,
support and continuing education for
case managers and other service providers; to develop and
update the HIV Case Management Plan; and to enhance HIV case management
practice.
Meeting Schedule: 1st
Thursday of the month at 8:30 AM at AIDS Rochester, Inc., 1350 University Avenue.
CONSUMER INVOLVEMENT COMMITTEE (Formerly CAC)
The role of the CIC is to seek to empower PWAs to be: full partners in their health care; educated
about available services and opportunities to enhance their lives; and
articulate about public policy related to HIV. The CIC will serve as an
advisory body to RATFA, Inc. on service and policy matters that affect people
living with HIV. The Chair of CIC will
be selected by the Committee, and must be subject to ratification by the
general membership of RATFA, Inc.
Meeting Schedule: 4th Tuesday of the month at Noon at FLHSA, 1150 University Avenue.
POLICY ADVISORY/EDUCATION COMMITTEE (formerly Advocacy)
The role of the PAE Committee is to identify current
public policy issues that will affect PWAs and
service providers; to develop draft policy positions for network consideration;
and to mobilize the Network and coalition partners to influence public policy
and funding for HIV/AIDS.
Meeting Schedule: 3RD Monday
of the month at 9:00 AM at FLHSA, 1150 University Avenue.
FINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT
The role of the Finance Committee is to develop a
process for developing a unified budget for RATFA activities with input from
Committee Chairs; to develop a process for developing an annual plan to finance
operating activities; to identify longer range projects of committees and
estimate the projected costs of these activities; to propose a development plan
to implement longer range projects.

RAYS OF HOPE COMMITTEE
The role of the Rays of Hope Committee is to
facilitate the empowerment of people of color around issues of HIV/AIDS,
including, but not limited to, services, prevention, and policy. The Committee will reach out to communities
of color to increase their participation in all aspects of RATFA, Inc.

Thursday of the month at 1:00 PM at AIDS Rochester, Inc., 1350
University Avenue.
ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE
The role of the Assessment Committee is to coordinate
RATFA, Inc.’s self evaluation activities.
The Chair of the Assessment Committee will be selected by the Board of
Directors, subject to ratification by the general membership of RATFA, Inc.
